Volunteer Opportunity

Alumni Interview Participant

Meet one-on-one with a current NC State student to discuss the communication skills and practices you use in your profession.

No preparation is required. The student will guide the conversation using interview questions provided by the Professional Writing Program.

Preferred Experience

Alumni from all industries, career fields, and experience levels are encouraged to participate. The program seeks a broad range of professional perspectives to better understand communication across today's workplace.

Volunteer Commitment

• One interview
• Approximately 15–30 minutes
• Scheduled at a mutually convenient time

Interviews may be conducted:

• Virtually
• By phone
• In person, when mutually convenient
